fishkill creek clean-up 6.18.05

A community service clean-up of the Fishkill Creek is scheduled for this Saturday, June 18th in Beacon, New York.

The cleanup will begin at 9:00am.

We will meet (rain or shine) at the railroad tracks at East Main and Main Street (by the dummy light on the East end of Main).

This message is being sent to you via NYNArts.com and W.A.R (Within Arts' Reach).

We realize that not everyone on our mailing list is local to the Beacon area, but why not give back to an arts community in the morning and stay to enjoy an incredible month of art here in the City of Beacon.

Last Saturday's "Beacon Second Saturday" event was unbearably hot, and few came out to see the new shows on and around Main Street. Make sure to visit the opening exhibition of yet another beautiful gallery - "Beacon Firehouse Gallery" located on the 2nd floor of Hudson Beach Glass, 162 Main Street - which launches with the photographs of John Daido Loori.

For more information, please visit www.beaconarts.org or www.nynarts.com

This community service outreach project is sponsored and organized by:
